In a society without art no one would be sitting around making art.A lot of capable artists could be otherwise productive.

I remember it was cold. I braced the metal object in my pants through my pocket.

This was it. I don’t know how long it’s been since the last time somebodys had this, but i haven’t had it since the last time i was home and my mom shopped and cooked.

I’m just sayin, it was a specific brand. I arrived in the door, nearly gasping at the thought of if I hadn”t had my $130 jacket, because no one in my house was using it and i hate seeing a good item go to waste before i donate it. Then, i grabbed the metal in my pocket… It felt so much heavier now, like there was something in the metal that was gonna go in somebodies stomach, and then I did it. I donated the can of soup to the food drive.

***Clarification:

This is an announcement that Chris Milea donated a can of food to a canned food drive, I would like to recieve all acknowledgements and rewards that come with having such a positive, charitable effect. I feel this charity needs to be repaid with an even greater charity.

Today marks the fortieth anniversary of the death of Black Panther leader Fred Hampton. On December 4th, 1969, Chicago police raided Fred Hampton’s apartment and shot and killed him in his bed. He was just twenty-one years old. Black Panther leader Mark Clark was also killed in the raid. While authorities claimed the Panthers had opened fire on the police who were there to serve a search warrant for weapons, evidence later emerged that told a very different story: that the FBI, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office and the Chicago police conspired to assassinate Fred Hampton.

Over the last 24 hours, three people I’ve had little contact with over the last few years and I have been talking again, and to be honest, I’m extremely happy about it. Nothing makes me happier than knowing someone wants to see me and is interested in my life, and as a good friend/person, it makes feel great to return the favor and be interested in them. Nothing is more fascinating to me than the way that people are, it’s a great sight to see. It’s so refreshing to interact with these great people again, and even though I’m busy, I swear to everyone of them I will hang out with them. I have to solely because these are wonderful people with their own interesting lives that need the attention they’re giving me which I’m extremely thankful for. So, conclusively, this post goes out to all the friends I currently have, the friends I once had, all my future friends and to those old friendships that are going to be rekindled.

I’m with it.

Why Dr. Frankenstein was a gun toting tool bag

Mary Shelly led an interesting life. She met up with a bunch of crazy womanizing tool bags and wrote gothic tales of disaster…She did get pretty creeped out sometimes and she wrote down these feelings in a book called Frankenstein. Here now gain no useful application to life unless your contemplating civilian casualty risks.

After evaluating my potential essay topics, i found myself highlighting the most monstrous quotes of the book. I wondered why any normal examination of this collection of words would seem alarming to patriot act phone tapers or high school guidance counselors, but here at SUNY New Paltz i was collecting them as a culmination of gems for a masterlesson of a novel.

So all of us college kids are up here becoming well versed in the inner contimplations of a disfigured monster when we could be studying literature that is relevant to the events of our time. That is why Frankenstein is a gun totin tool bag.

Thats the answer. More war books. We really do need more.

I performed poetry in an english class today, the teacher is a fan of charles bukowski so naturally she liked ya boy. I slapped her and asked if she thinks i’m not substantially more optimistic than him…”You can’t go liking both our poetry!”

So, frankenstein is a douche bag, Mary Shelly is a huge douche bag, chris milea uses the word douche bag, and a substantially amount of fifths of my schedule are useless.
